Thursday, September 12, 2019

This Saturday, September 14 at 7:30-9:00pm at 385 S. Lemon Ave., Suite G, Walnut, CA 91789, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Los Angeles will celebrate the Moon Festival with fun packed activities and everyone is invited.

A nonprofit organization of culture, qigong, and martial arts, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy invites people to join in a “single leg stance” contest and “picking up beans with chopsticks” contest. Whoever stands on one foot for the longest time will win the first place prize: A custom-made clock for the promotion of the “International Day of Conscience,” usually reserved for UN ambassadors and influential leaders. Now in celebration of the 19th anniversary of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Los Angeles and in response to the United Nations’ designation of April 5 as the “International Day of Conscience,” the clock will be given away as the first place prize. The second and third place winners will each receive a compass keychain and “Be the Spark,” a beautiful children’s book about a little bear’s journey to find the meaning of conscience.

Tai Ji Men members will share their secrets to wealth, health, and happiness as well as how to obtain good luck. Tea and mooncakes will be served. Admissions are free. Please call 1-909-468-1362 for more information.
